Roz Geridis

Roz is the Executive Officer for the Etobicoke (SW 1) and Humberside (SW 2) Families of Schools. She is the Liaison Officer for the Social Committee.

Roz has been involved with Federation activities since the beginning of her teaching career. She has participated as a Union Steward, Regional Councillor and as a member on a variety of ETT Standing Committees. Roz was part of the planning, writing, and editing team for two years of the ETT New Teacher's Planner. Provincially, Roz has been presenting workshops for the Presenters on the Road program.

Throughout her career, Roz has taught Junior and Senior Kindergarten, Grade 2/3, Grade 3, Grade 5, Grade 6, a Developmental Handicap class, S.E.R.T., and prep coverage. She has been through the surplus procedure twice and she has participated in the transfer rounds procedure also. Roz has been involved with the Mentor Cadre supporting new teachers, presenting workshops, and to help build the mentor relationship.

Roz enjoys supporting teachers and is committed to providing service, accountability, and leadership.
