Mission Statement

In preparation for the transition to a new Toronto-wide Local, local members and leaders met in February 1998 to develop a vision statement for the Toronto Local. It is:

"The Toronto Local shall be a unified, democratic organization of informed professionals which will anticipate and respond to the needs of its diverse membership, as well as advocate for children and public education."
