Mayworks Festival: The Story of Albert Jackson
On Wednesday, May 3, 2017, starting at 7:00 p.m., Mayworks Festival is hosting a book launch for The Story of Albert Jackson, a children's story book about Albert Jackson, Toronto's first black postal worker, at A Different Booklist.

The book launch will include a reading of the book, a panel discussion, and a display of the original art of the grade one students from Clinton Street Public School that inspired the book.

This event is co-presented with Ontario Black History Society, the Elementary Teachers of Toronto, and Toronto Workers History Project.
