Fight $15 and Fairness 2018 Provincial Strategy Meeting: Four Spots Available for ETT Members

ETT’s Committee for Community Outreach (CCO) is supporting up to four ETT members to attend the Fight for $15 and Fairness 2018 Provincial Strategy Meeting on March 23-24, 2018 in Toronto.

This session to strengthen progressive movement building in Ontario will focus on:

  • organizing for workers’ rights in the context of the provincial election;
  • tackling the big business backlash against the $15 minimum wage increase; and
  • lessons on community building, workshops, skills building, and more.

Registration, Release, and Additional Details

Members interested in attending are asked to email Helen Victoros, ETT Executive Liaison, Committee for Committee Outreach (CCO), at, by no later than Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 9:00 a.m.

Please be advised that members will be selected to attend on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participants must commit to attending both days of the strategy meeting.  Attendees are advised that they will be representing ETT at the event.

Successful registrants will receive full-day release for Friday, March 23, 2018. The ETT Office will email confirmed registrants a release day code to be used to book a supply teacher prior to Friday, March 23, 2018.

Attendees will also be provided with a link to indicate the sessions, caucuses, and workshops they wish to attend.

A light breakfast and lunch will be provided both days.
