Vice President Yolanda B’Dacy Featured on CBC Discussing Sex-Ed Curriculum Changes

On July 12, 2018, ETT Vice President Yolanda B’Dacy was featured on CBC News, discussing the Ontario Government’s decision to revert to the 1998 sex-ed component of the curriculum.

In the interview, Yolanda states that teachers, by nature, do what’s “best for their students.”

When the curriculum is lacking, she says, teachers “augment” and improve it, filling in the gaps, as may be necessary with the government’s revisions to sex-ed.
